Jimmy Surf has grown from a program used by a circle of students at MIT and Harvard University to an international sofware phenomenon tried by hundreds of thousands of privacy lovers worldwide. As frequent Internet surfers, we, the first Jimmy Surfers, saw a desperate need for quality privacy measures.

We couldn't find an easy-to-use solution geared toward the average surfer who just wants to browse the Web without being invaded by pop up windows, or worrying of that the computer needs to be cleaned everytime a sensitive site is visited.

We could only find complicated solutions, so we created something that novices can use and experts can appreciate.

The current version of Jimmy Surf disables common surfing iritations such as pop-ups, homepage hijacking, and data trailes. We think Jimmy is a special guy and really hope you like him.
